Q. How often should my car be serviced?
A. Your vehicle should be serviced every 6 months or every 5,000kms, whichever occurs first.
Q. Do I have to return to the car dealer to maintain my warranty?
A. NO! Having your vehicle serviced at Towler Mechanical will maintain your warranty as we employ only qualified mechanics. We are accredited members of the MTA, RAA and IAME.
Q. Do I have to pay on the day of the job and how can I pay ?
A. Yes. Payment needs to be made at the completion of the job. We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard or Cash.
Q. Do you give out accounts?
A. No – unfortunately we learnt the hard way that payments need to be made at the completion of all work. We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard or cash. Payment must be made before, or at the time of, collecting your car.
Q. What if my vehicle requires warranty repairs?
A. Whilst your vehicle is in for service at Towler Mechanical, our qualified mechanics will carry out a thorough, detailed inspection of your vehicle with an independent written report identifying items required within the warranty period. The vehicle can then be referred to the relevant manufacturer to have these repairs carried out under warranty.
Q. My company vehicle is leased. Does this present any problems with servicing?
A. No. Towler Mechanical carries out log book servicing as specified by the vehicle manufacturer. If the leasing company has any special requirements, please let us know.
Q. Will I know how much the car service or car repair will end up or will I get a big surprise?
A. Before Towler Mechanical commences any work, the mechanic will contact you with a diagnosis of work required and associated costs – you are always in control of the cost and will not get a nasty surprise.
Q. Can Towler Mechanical do all Car Repairs?
A. Yes – We are equipped and ready to perform most car repairs or service.
