Q. What does the dyno measure?
A. The dyno measures torque and power at the wheels of the vehicle being tested.

Q. Are all dyno’s the same?
A. No, definitely not. Different manufacturers and operating variables make all dynos potentially very different.

Q. What is special about Towler Mechanical dyno?
A. Well, nothing really, but the operators and the facility and trained and ACCREDITED by Dyno Dynamics who manufacture the dyno. This accreditation ensures conformance with the correct operating procedures.

Q. What is “Shootout Mode”?
A. Shootout mode is a procedure that sets out the “rules” for use of the dyno by Dyno Dynamics. Reproducing as many conditions as possible on each use ensures that the results produced are consistent and reliable and in accordance with best practice.

Q. Are many Adelaide facilities “Shootout” accredited?
A. No, Towler Mechanical is one of very few to gain this accreditation in Adelaide.
